Approach to Treatment:

Amanda believes in meeting families, wherever they are at, with kindness and empathy. When working with children and families, she takes an integrated approach to the assessment and treatment of concerns. She assesses the impact of internal and external stressors on functioning in various environments and how functioning has changed overtime.  This allows her to tailor to the unique needs, experiences, and perspectives of each family. When treating individuals, she utilizes a combination of relational and second and third wave behavioral therapies (CBT, ERP, ACT, and DBT).

Experience and Training:

Amanda received her MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford in 2017. She completed her post-masters training at the University of Michigan and was credentialed as a Limited Licensed Psychologist in 2019. Amanda graduated with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 2024. She has had fantastic experiences working with a wide age range from early childhood through adolescence in school, community mental health, integrated pediatric primary care, and academic medical settings.

More About Me: Amanda is a native Michigander who loves a good cup of tea. She enjoys reading, road trips, and baking.
