Dr. Heather A. Schmitt, a Licensed Psychologist at Thriving Minds Behavioral Health, holds a Ph.D. in School Psychology from Michigan State University. Dr. Schmitt has extensive experience in clinical psychology, particularly in the assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders in school-aged children, young adults, and families. She is licensed in the state of Michigan, and has become PsyPact approved, allowing her to provide telehealth services to children and families who live in states that allow PsyPact approval. She has worked as a clinical supervisor for clinicians-in-training, providing expertise in Selective Mutism treatment.
