Title: Clinical Psychology Practicum Student

Location: Chelsea

Approach to Treatment

My approach to treatment is client-centered and strengths-based, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help adolescents identify and challenge negative thoughts, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies. I create a safe, trusting, fun, and engaging space where children can feel comfortable expressing themselves at their own pace. By fostering an environment of patience and support, I help them gradually overcome communication barriers and build confidence. I collaborate with families to ensure comprehensive care. I focus on fostering emotional well-being and empowering youth to build on their strengths for long-term success.
