Approach to Treatment: Julia loves working with children, adolescents, and their families. She utilizes an evidence-based, compassionate, hands-on approach to treatment and places an emphasis on fostering a fun, supportive environment for clients. Julia is passionate about collaborating with all individuals involved in the client’s life (e.g., caregivers, teachers) to provide comprehensive care and effective treatment. She values working with clients from all backgrounds, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities.

• Anxiety-based disorders, Depression, Trauma, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Behavior Management, Parent Training and Consultation, Relational Stressors, Psychological Assessment
• Julia utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior therapy (DBT), and Parent Management Training (PMT)
• Age Range: Youth ages 5-18 and Parents
Experience and Training: Julia graduated with her doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in August 2024. She has experience treating a variety of anxiety, behavior, trauma, and mood disorders and has completed training in public school, therapeutic school, and outpatient settings.
More about Me: Julia lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, two cats (Hugo and Sonny), and dog (Sansa). Julia loves spending time with her friends and family and enjoys being active outdoors.
