Approach: Patricia is a warm and playful therapist who enjoys meeting clients in all situations and creating a safe space for them to express themselves. She is genuine and likes to use humor in the therapy process. Patricia believes that everyone deserves to have authentic, fulfilling lives. By utilizing a multi-systemic and client-centered approach, Patricia hopes to meet her clients’ individual needs and help them to develop the skills necessary to meet their goals.

• Patricia implements evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent Problem Solving Program (PPSP), and may also incorporate techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Experience and Training:
Patricia has experience working with diverse populations, often including families and children, who have experienced significant trauma including abuse, neglect, loss, and violence. She also has experience in working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and various other mental health concerns.
Patricia received her Bachelor of Social Worker degree from Spring Arbor University in 2015 and her Master of Social Work degree (with a focus on Family Systems) from Wayne State University in 2019.

Patricia is a fun-loving traveler (especially with the radio on and her pug riding co-pilot). When she is not traveling, Patricia is either nose-deep in a book or watching re-runs of The Office.
