Approach to Treatment: Sierra’s goal is to encourage growth while fostering a supportive atmosphere. She utilizes evidence-based treatment with a fun, hands-on approach to help clients with the barriers they may face. Sierra believes in identifying each client’s individual strengths to help empower and inspire. Sierra is a strong advocate that therapy should be a collaborative experience. She believes that working with parents and caregivers helps to strengthen relationships and help each child achieve their goals. Sierra values working with clients from all backgrounds, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities.

Sierra utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Parent Problem Solving Program (PPSP)

Age Range: Youth ages 3-17 and Parents

Experience and Training: Sierra received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver. She has experience working with children and families in home and outpatient settings. She has previous experience with individuals in the foster care/adoption system.

More about Me: Sierra loves spending her free time with her friends and family. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog. Sierra also enjoys furthering her education, knowledge, and experience to grow as a social worker and as a human.
